Because I cater for a wide age-range, I have made 3 versions of each Prep Course. Go to the course page for the version of your choice using the link below. Download and print the course booklet pdf using the link on the Course page. I find that a narrow ringbinder is ideal for storing these pages because it keeps them all in order while still enabling you to write on them.
Piano:If your child is aged about 3-6 years I suggest starting with the "Young Child" version.
If your child is aged about 7-11 years I suggest you start with the "Older Child" version.
If your child is 12 years or older, I suggest they start with the "Adult" version.
Violin:If your child is aged about 3-6 years I suggest starting with the "Young Child" version.
If your child is aged about 7-11 years I suggest you start with the "Older Child" version.
If your child is 12 years or older, I suggest they start with the "Adult" version.
All 3 versions of the Prep Course cover the same material and get the player up to the same playing level but the presentation is tailored to the different ages.
The age levels are really just guides, if you find that the pace is too slow or too fast for your child, try one of the other versions.
