Click on the violin calendar button below to book or change lessons. Note that you must be logged in to book lessons. If you are not in New Zealand, remember to set your time-zone when you get into the calendar.
Before booking your first lesson, please book a free chat so we can meet and talk. You are also welcome to book a free chat any time while you are taking lessons if you'd like to talk.

Rose is absolutely loving the lessons with you and it’s wonderful to see her practising daily and being inspired again. Thank you so much for taking her on.
Wow Katie! You are amazing. This is amazing. Thanks very much for the recording of the lesson and also for the explanations on how to find the videos- I struggled to find the right twinkle exercise. Really appreciate all you do. Alice is really enjoying seeing the improvements. Thanks a lot.
Parental input
Parental input is very important in Suzuki lessons so please be present during all lessons unless arranged prior. With younger children, one of your important roles is to take notes on what your child should practice. Even for older teens, it can still be helpful for you to listen in so you know what your child has been asked to practice and can follow up with them later.
Lessons in Motueka
I teach from my home in Motueka Valley, about 10 mins drive from Motueka.
Lessons by webcam
Most of my teaching is by webcam, which enables me to teach students all around the world. A laptop is the best device for doing lessons on, but you can use a phone or an ipad/tablet.
Sign into the weblink early so that you can check that your microphone, speaker and camera are working properly.
Costs
Startup costs are the cost of buying the Suzuki book and CD/mp3s and the cost of getting an instrument and associated accessories.
Lessons cost NZ$50/half-hour.
How to get started
Message me to enquire about lessons or book a free video chat using the button on the homepage. I look forward to talking to you soon.
